Dr. Sporborg utilizes Digital Imaging Technologies within the office, carefully choosing when and where the digital images are taken. Digital imaging allows us to see things that are not visible with the naked eye. They enable us to detect cavities in between your teeth, determine bone level, and analyze the health of your bone. We can also examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, and assess damage when trauma occurs. Digital imaging provides our team with information that allows us to provide the best possible care for you.

It is an invaluable aid in diagnosing, treating, and maintaining dental health. Exposure time is extremely minimal. With digital imaging, exposure time is about 50% less than traditional radiographs.

Digital imaging also allows us to store patient images electronically, and enables us to quickly and easily transfer them to specialists or insurance companies as necessary.
